SAN DIEGO -- Solectek Corporation, a leading manufacturer of broadband wireless equipment, announced a new wireless backhaul product line designed for cellular base station interconnection, video surveillance networks and high-capacity backbone traffic. The SkyWay LM™ Series operates from 6 to 40 GHz and provides a flexible high-capacity microwave point-to-point solution for ISP/carrier, government and private network applications.

The new SkyWay-LM Series addresses the sweet spot in today’s wireless backhaul needs. By delivering aggregate IP throughput up to 300 Mbps the solution provides ample headroom for today’s fast growing data traffic. Solectek’s PureTDMTM architecture used in the LM Series allows for concurrent transport of native, transparent T1/E1 traffic with precise clock synchronization. Software controlled configuration allows adjustable allocation between the IP and TDM traffic without the downtime associated with hardware changes.

“Having worked closely with carriers on WiMAX™ networks, Solectek has learned first hand what users of high-capacity backhauls require,” said Dr. Eric Lee, CEO of Solectek Corporation. “In addition to high reliability and affordability, our system design addresses high-capacity IP throughput, native TDM, and advanced programmability.”
