Anil Khatod, former Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer of Nortel Networks, joins OmniGuide Communications’ board of directors

In this role, Khatod had global responsibility for Nortel’s marketing & communications, business and technology strategies, network architecture, platforms and solutions, investments, acquisitions, alliances, strategic planning and government relations. Mr. Khatod joined Nortel Networks in 1982 and served in numerous capacities, including Sr. Vice President Marketing & Sales, President Optical Internet, President Wireless Internet, and Group President Global Internet Solutions. Under his leadership, Nortel’s Optical business grew to over $10 billion in revenue. As Group President of Global Internet Solutions, he shared P&L responsibility for businesses with over $25 billion in revenue including Optical Internet, Wireless Internet, Carrier data, and VOIP.
