NEW YORK -- NTT America, Inc., a wholly owned U.S. subsidiary of NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com), the international and long distance service arm of the largest telecommunications company in the world: Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation, today announced a multi-year contract with Juniper Networks (Nasdaq: JNPR) to provide Juniper Networks with network collocation and related services. The contract calls for Juniper Networks to house its primary network at Verio's state-of-the-art data center in San Jose, California. Verio is also a subsidiary of NTT Communications.

"NTT's corporate and financial stability, coupled with Verio's solid reputation as a leading managed hosting solutions provider, is what initially interested us in NTT's services," said Kim Perdikou, Chief Information Officer at Juniper Networks. "The NTT sales and marketing teams worked together seamlessly," said Perdikou, "The sales team never made a promise that the technology team could not fulfill, and their close working relationship really helped ensure the project was completed on-time and on-budget."

NTT's collocation solutions provide premier, highly resilient data center/hosting space and Internet access to businesses both large and small. NTT's data centers provide bandwidth, power, Internet connectivity, secure facilities, redundancy, as well as networking and facility service level guarantees.

"The signing of this contract is significant in that it once again shows how NTT's best-teams approach is helping meet the larger business needs of clients in a short period of time," said David Ryan, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of NTT America. "By amassing a team of sales and technical personnel from multiple NTT family operations, we were able to deliver the necessary storage capacity at a premier facility, while providing Juniper the assurance that their primary network was in the hands of a stable and responsive partner.
