Forms alliances with ABB, AMEC, Skanska, Bovis, Fluor to eccelerate network installation

Nortel Networks (NYSE:NT)(TSE:NT.) has formed strategic allianceswith five, internationally recognized engineering and constructionservices firms to accelerate build out of customer networkinfrastructure solutions.

These alliances -- with ABB, AMEC, Skanska, Bovis Lend Lease, andFluor Corporation -- will position Nortel Networks to installwireless, fiber and data networks more quickly, efficiently andcost-effectively.

With aggregate annual revenues of US$56 billion and 350,000employees across 100 countries collectively, these companies willsupport Nortel Networks on projects throughout North America, SouthAmerica, Europe and Asia.
