Re: Negative Force Virginia! Well, I'm sure some kids STILL don't have AC in their classrooms... Unfortunately. But the internet and mobile smartphones/devices didn't even EXIST just a few decades ago. That's like our grandparents saying that they didn't have automobiles or refrigerators when they were kids.

It's a great time to be a kid now! Videos on demand (What kid waits until Saturday morning for cartoons anymore?) Video games everywhere -- not just connected to TVs or in dinky toy-like handheld devices. Pretty soon, autonomous cars will take kids where ever they want to go, too...

Re: Negative Force Virginia! LOL @Mhhf1ve That's the kind of thing I tell my kids. I also tell them that my school didn't have air conditioning in the classroom and other things they find hard to believe!

A smart belt? The idea of having a "smart belt" is actually pretty good.  Not so much interested in an apple that can receive texts, though.

Negative Force Virginia! Kids these days... surrounded by awesome technology. It all seems to work like magic now, but in my day.... we had to wait at home for phones to ring and dial-up to get on the internet.
