Tele2 CTIO Heads East for New Role
Charismatic Tele2 Group CTIO Joachim Horn is leaving the pan-European competitive operator after four years to join an as yet unidentified Asian telecom company.
Horn has been instrumental in combining the group-level telecom and IT teams at Tele2 AB (Nasdaq: TLTO) and taking the first steps towards NFV at the operator, which has 14 million customers across nine markets.
Niklas Sonkin, Tele2's executive vice president for Central Europe and Eurasia, is stepping in as acting Group CTIO until a permanent replacement for Horn is appointed.
