Vodafone completes the purchase of MobiFon in Romania and Oskar Mobil in the Czech Republic

NEWBURY, U.K. -- Vodafone Group Plc today announces that its wholly-owned subsidiary Vodafone International Holdings B.V. has completed the acquisition of approximately:
79% of the share capital of MobiFon S.A. in Romania to increase Vodafone and its subsidiaries' ownership in MobiFon S.A. to approximately 99%; and,
100% of the share capital of Oskar Mobil a.s. in the Czech Republic
