LAS VEGAS -- Verizon Monday (1/8) unveiled the FiOS generation of its Verizon One communications device, bringing together an all-in-one voice, data and video center for the home.
Expected to be available this spring, the next-generation Verizon One will be manufactured exclusively for Verizon FiOS Internet customers under a multi-year contract with OpenPeak, a leading developer of converged technology products.
"The new Verizon One will use the power of our all-digital, all-fiber network to become an integral part of the FiOS lifestyle," said John Wimsatt, Verizon's senior vice president for broadband product management and development. "It goes beyond reducing the clutter of multiple communications devices to providing a robust, multimedia digital communications solution – only available to Verizon's FiOS Internet customers."
