MIDDLETOWN, R.I. -- Towerstream Corporation (Nasdaq:TWER), a leading 4G service provider, today announced that any Verizon customers in a Towerstream market that are being affected by the current strike, are eligible to switch to Towerstream's high-speed wireless broadband service utilizing its Rapid Install service option.

"We understand the frustration many customers experience when they can't get internet service to properly run their businesses," stated Jeff Thompson, Chief Executive Officer. "One of our most popular subscription options is our Rapid Install Service, guaranteeing customer's reliable wireless broadband in days instead of weeks. To help alleviate some of the headaches businesses may be feeling due to the strike situation, we are waving our Rapid Install fee and encourage all affected Verizon customers in a Towerstream market to consider Towerstream's state-of-the-art service."
