VANCOUVER -- TeraSpan Networks Inc. announced today the expansion of its sales force with the appointment of Scott Grant and Bill McLean as Executive Account Managers.

Lisa Payne, Chief Operating Officer, is leading the growth of TeraSpan's sales force. "We strive to continue our strong connection with existing customers, and reach out to prospective clients, by expanding our sales capacity in the North American market," says Payne.

Grant, responsible for TeraSpan's west coast accounts, brings a decade's worth of management experience to the position. "TeraSpan enables customers to deploy fiber in almost any kind of infrastructure, whether it is a metro environment or a point to point solution. This technology makes fiber in the last mile a reality," says Grant. Previous to TeraSpan, Grant worked in telecommunications with both WorldCom Canada and Zoolink Communications.

TeraSpan's east coast accounts are now managed by McLean, who has over 40 years sales and marketing experience in the telecom industry. His first twenty years were spent in national and international telecom companies such as Bell Canada, CN/CP Telecom and Timeplex Canada. In recent years McLean has worked as a Director of Product Marketing and Director of Complex Projects for Sprint Canada Inc., and in a Sales Manager capacity for both 360networks and Enersource Telecom Inc.

"It is exciting to take TeraSpan's technology to new customers and provide fiber connections that are faster to install and are a fraction of the cost than people are used to," McLean notes.
