MALAGA, Spain and SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- Telsima Corporation, a global leader in WiMAX system solutions, has been awarded the WiMAX Forum Certified™ approval for its StarMAX™ 6000 Base Station series and the StarMAX™ 3100 Mobile Station operating in the 2.5 GHz band. Telsima’s StarMAX products underwent rigorous interoperability and conformance testing defined by the WiMAX Forum at the AT4 Labs in Malaga, Spain before achieving this recognition milestone.

The WiMAX Forum™ defines and conducts conformance and interoperability tests to ensure that 802.16 systems from different vendors work seamlessly with one another. Those that pass conformance and interoperability testing receive the ‘WiMAX Forum Certified’ designation.
