Tele2 to divest 100% of the shares in its Norwegian subsidiary Datametrix to Ignis

STOCKHOLM -- Tele2 AB, ("Tele2"), (Stockholm Stock Exchange: TEL2 A and TEL2 B), Europe's leading alternative telecom operator, today announced that it will divest 100% of the shares in its Norwegian subsidiary Datametrix AS to Ignis ASA.
Lars-Johan Jarnheimer, President and CEO of Tele2, commented "This agreement is in line with our strategy to focus our Norwegian business. We have been an owner of Datametrix since 1995 and believe that Ignis ASA can ensure that Datametrix continues to develop successfully going forward".
Thomas Ramm, President and CEO of Ignis ASA, commented "Datametrix make up a perfect match with our subsidiary Smartnet, both from a competence and customer perspective. We will integrate the two companies and focus on building a leading Norwegian supplier of IP based solutions, focused to capturing the growth opportunities present in the market".
