Tech Data Distributes Sierra

VANCOUVER -- Sierra Wireless (NASDAQ: SWIR - TSX: SW) announced today that it has signed a North American distribution agreement with Tech Data (NASDAQ/NMS: TECD), a Fortune 500 company and worldwide provider of IT products and services. Under the terms of the agreement, Tech Data will distribute Sierra Wireless AirCard(R) products including the AirCard 500 series (operating on high-speed CDMA2000 1X networks) and the AirCard 700 series (designed for use with global GSM/GPRS networks). Sierra Wireless products will be available through Tech Data's Mobile Solutions Specialized Business Unit (SBU), which provides reseller services such as logistics management, technical support, marketing and business development, credit and financing, e-business and configuration.
