WEYBRIDGE, U.K. -- Sirocom, the UK's fastest growing VNO, today announces a 2 year contract with leading financial services provider Standard Life. Sirocom will provide its completely converged mobile, home broadband and Sales office communications service, Siroconnect, to over 1200 employees at Standard Life, utilising Sirocom's carrier and technology agnostic VNO model. The service, designed to simplify increasingly complex connectivity infrastructures is anticipated to achieve savings of between 30% and 40% over the period of the contract.

Using Siroconnect, Standard Life integrates three disparate services into one so that its 1200 strong mobile workforce has a consistent, single sign-on experience wherever they are, be it roaming, home or working from one of the many Sales offices. The service provides simple, secure and confident access to a device and carrier agnostic facility via 100,000 global access points, incorporating home broadband, Wi-Fi and 3G as well as dial-up. In addition, Siroconnect seamlessly integrates Standard Life's existing security policy and infrastructure that guarantees connection and access integrity, and user authentication.

Derek Murray, Network Architect at Standard Life explains: "As an international organisation, our Sales team is required to travel extensively on a daily basis. Access to corporate applications is critical, and as a result we need to guarantee ubiquitous, secure access to the corporate network at even the most remote locations. Providing this service has become increasingly costly and complex as access methods and technologies evolve frequently and our highly motivated and skilled sales force become increasingly adept at working from wherever they are."
