Intrawest selects Sprint to provide high-speed wired and wireless access at Viera Hotel Condominium at Lake Las Vegas Resort

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- To meet the advancing technology needs of both leisure and business travelers, Intrawest Corporation (NYSE: IDR - News; Toronto: ITW - News) has selected Sprint (NYSE: FON - News, PCS - News) to provide high-speed wired and wireless Internet access at the Viera Hotel Condominium, a new facility at the MonteLago Village at Lake Las Vegas Resort.
Sprint will install and manage the service -- Sprint Guest Online(SM) (High Speed Internet Access) -- which will allow owners, guests and meeting attendees to have secure Internet connectivity at speeds up to 1.5 mbps in all guest rooms. Wireless access will be available in hotel common areas and at the pool.
In addition to high-speed Internet access, Sprint will also provide local, long-distance, wireless and payphone services. Viera is scheduled to open in September 2003 and will feature fully furnished units available for rent on a daily, weekly or short-term basis.
