Anaheim, CA -- OFC 2002 -- Solus Micro Technologies(www.solustech.com) today announced that CTO Michael Little will address theprestigious OFC (Optical Fiber Communication) Conference in a presentationcalled "Compliant MEMS and Its Use in Optical Components," Tuesday, March19th, at 3:30 PM in room 303A-D at the Anaheim Convention Center. Soluswill also formally launch its TFM family of tunable filter product line atthe conference (March 19-21) in booth #6542. The new CMEMS-based tunable filters provide state-of-the-art performance, delivering high finesse optical performance (up to 2000) for superiorchannel selectivity in 100, 50 and 25 GHz network architectures. The TFMseries also has less than 2.5 dB of insertion loss and a filter contrast ofgreater than 40dB for precise measurement of optical power and opticalsignal/noise ratios. Models designed to scan all wavelengths in the C or Lbands (45nm FSR) or to cover the full C & L bands (110nm FSR) are available. The TFM series incorporates Solus' proprietary Compliant MEMS technology, which is designed to deliver higher performance and more reliability atlower cost than traditional silicon-based MEMS.Solus Micro Technologies Inc.For more information on OFC 2002, please visit: www.nottheofc.com
