CHICAGO -- Sarvega, a privately held company that develops intelligent XML switches, announced today that it has secured $10 million in Series A financing from blue chip investors Bessemer Venture Partners, KB Partners, and ComVentures. Sarvega will use this funding to continue its fast-track growth and ramp up for the introduction of its XML switches early next year. Bob O'Neil, Venture Partner at Bessemer Venture Partners, and Bob Zieserl, Managing Director at KB Partners, will join Sarvega's Board of Directors. Other members are Sunil Gaitonde, John Chirapurath, and Paul Vabakos, formerly of ComVentures and now a General Partner at Trinity Ventures. "Bessemer seeks out the leading early stage communications companies for our investments. One of the things that impressed us most about Sarvega is how quickly they have been able to move from the early stage vision to having initial product and trials. We believe Sarvega will truly be a company to watch over the next few years," said O'Neil. Sarvega Inc.
