Path 1 Appoints CFO

SAN DIEGO -- Path 1 Network Technologies Inc. (OTCBB:PNWK)(Frankfurt:PNT) announced today that John R. Zavoli has joined the firm as its chief financial officer and general counsel. Zavoli brings more than 14 years of multinational finance, operating and Big 4 consulting experience to Path 1, and has directed corporate financial, treasury, tax, and legal operations for major public and VC-funded corporations. Before joining Path 1, Zavoli was the chief financial officer and general counsel for WayNet Inc., a broadband video provider, and Nhancement Technologies, a publicly held Web portal service provider. Prior to that, Zavoli was a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where he consulted high tech clients in global operations, taxation, fiscal management, M&A, and other related issues. He was also a finance and tax director at Madge Networks, a global networking equipment manufacturer and Waste Management International, where he planned and managed the legal and financing activities for 43 international mergers and acquisitions and had responsibility for all tax, treasury, and fiscal matters for 300 legal entities and joint ventures in Europe, Asia and South America. Zavoli also was a financial manager for Digital Equipment Corp. where he performed senior level finance, treasury and tax functions for U.S., Asian and European operations for this global computer manufacturer and software developer. He has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Illinois, a J.D. from the John Marshall Law School and a Master of Laws from Boston University.
