NEWBURY PARK, Calif. and KANATA, Ont. -- Complete metro-scale wireless networks can now be deployed more quickly and cost-effectively through a joint offering from Nomadix, Inc. and BelAir Networks.

Nomadix, the leading provider of intelligent network devices and interconnect services for organizations that own or operate public access networks, and BelAir, the first wireless solutions provider to offer scalable Wide Area Wi-Fi, announced a joint marketing agreement today that will deliver complete, turn key wireless networks for large hot zone and high-density municipal deployments.

The joint offering gives service providers the ability to deploy metro-region wireless networks quickly, and in a way that guarantees users the highest quality experience. It combines the BelAir100 and BelAir200 Multi-service Switch Routers on the back end, with Nomadix Access Gateways running the Nomadix Service Engine(TM) (NSE). The companies already have a deployment, Northern California's luxury resort, the 40-acre Costanoa Coastal Lodge and Camp, that leverages both of their products.

"Nomadix' strategic partnership with BelAir to offer large scale wireless network deployments is well timed to meet the growing demand for city-wide municipal hot zones," said Mike Gilley, Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Nomadix. "This relationship strengthens our commitment to provide industry leaders with intelligent network devices and interconnect services that enable cost-effective, secure public access networks."
