NMS announced that converged communications solutions provider uReach Technologies has certified the company's Open Access family of platforms

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. -- NMS Communications (NASDAQ: NMSS), a leading provider of technologies and solutions for mobile applications and infrastructure, today announced that converged communications solutions provider uReach Technologies has certified the company's Open Access family of platforms (www.nmscommunications.com/openaccess) for use with its Converged Services Framework.

The uReach Converged Services Framework delivers calling and messaging solutions that allow service providers to seamlessly integrate the mobile and fixed-line experience, letting the user manage their communications where and how they want.

uReach Technologies' has certified NMS's CG and TX line of media processing and signaling platforms, including the newest family member - the CG 6565, for use with its converged messaging, unified messaging, converged calling and premium SMS solutions. Currently, uReach Technologies and NMS are working together to deliver solutions for some of the world's largest service providers, including Bell Canada, Cox Communications, SaskTel and Verizon.
