TORONTO -- Encouraged by recent sales to large customers in Canada and the UK, Nextair Inc. (TSX: NXA), a leading provider of wireless software platforms, reported today that the company has commenced its US expansion.

Nextair has activated its US subsidiary, Nextair (US) Corporation and has already hired fulltime, experienced Sales professionals in Western and Central US. The company expects to add coverage in the Northeast and in the South shortly.

“To the best of our knowledge Nextair has not yet lost an order to a competing company”, said Ron Close, President and CEO. ”We want to get our winning technology, the AIRIX Wireless Environment, in front of as many prospects as we can.” Nextair estimates that there are 130,000 US companies in their target market. This market includes enterprises with field employees (either service or sales) who need access to company data and systems to be more productive.

“We are confident that we have a winning product with AIRIX,” added Close, “and we are excited about the opportunities for growth in the US.”
