The new service gives companies the flexibility to stream their live events globally, while simultaneously recording it to storage for playback on the desktop, iPhone, iPad, Android, BlackBerry and more.
To view a live event while recording to Mirror Image’s globally distributed, Video On-Demand Storage, the customer sends a live video stream to the Mirror Image Live Stream Record and Playback Service. The live stream is simultaneously recorded to a local disk and replicated across globally distributed, Video On-Demand Storage, while end users view the live event with Mirror Image’s globally load balanced, Live Stream Service.
