Microsemi Acquires VT Silicon
Innovative front-end module technology complements current offering, demonstrates commitment to RF leadership

IRVINE, Calif. -- MicrosemiCorporation (Nasdaq:MSCC), a leading manufacturer of high performanceanalog mixed signal integrated circuits, high reliabilitysemiconductors, and radio frequency (RF) subsystems, today announcedthat it has acquired all of the assets of VT Silicon.
VT Silicon, located in Atlanta, GA, designs and manufactures multi-bandradio frequency integrated circuit (RFIC) solutions for the mobilewireless broadband market. VT Silicon's products leverage linearizationand efficiency-enhancement technologies to enable highly efficient,low-cost and small-footprint intelligent Front-End RFIC solutions.
