SHREWSBURY, N.J. -- Lemur Networks, Inc. (www.lemurnetworks.com), an innovative broadband IP services fulfillment company, today announced the addition of Tito Sharma as vice president of finance. With over 10 years of financial leadership experience in the telecommunications industry, Sharma will play an instrumental role in budgeting, planning, treasury, and fundraising as Lemur Networks continues to expand. Sharma joins Lemur Networks from Apilon Networks, a creator of business solutions that capitalize on existing communication service provider networks, where he was vice president of finance. There he spearheaded efforts to raise $30M in Series F funding and managed financial operations in its New Jersey headquarters as well as an office in India. Previously, Sharma led strategy and finance at Coreon, Inc., an Operations Service Provider (OSP), where he raised $73M in Series C funding and expanded operations of the company to both coasts. "Tito has a thorough understanding of technology and telecommunications with a very strong business perspective," said Lemur Networks' CEO and co-founder, Seyhan Civanlar.
