Kylia will unveil its new tunable multiplexer at OFC2005

PARIS -- Kylia issued from Photonetics in 2003 is specialized in bulk grating athermal components. Its product range covers the cost sensitive OEM market with the MICS, as well as the lab market with the High Performance MICS, which exhibits unsurpassed specifications for high numbers of channels(an Insertion Loss of 2 dB for a PDL of 0.1 dB and a Crosstalk of 33 dB).

The tunable MICS is an instrument designed for labs or for testing applications. It enable to multiplex 16 arbitrary spaced lasers sources on the C+L band. The filter response is gaussian. The Polarization maintaining option and the fixed grid option are available.

"Thanks to its performances the MICS was already an precise lab instrument. Now, with the tunable MICS, one can adjust its grid according to its modulation format, or build an experiment with his available laser sources", said Frederic Verluise , the CEO of Kylia.
