Eltek Valere targets small industrial and telecom applications with launch of Wallbox Ultra Compact Power system enclosure
April 7, 2011
DRAMMEN, Norway -- Eltek Valere, the world leader in high efficiency power systems, today announced the release of the new Wallbox ultra compact and multi voltage DC power system enclosure designed for space constrained industrial and telecom applications. The flexible, wall-mounted unit houses complete power systems, including distribution and advanced controllers, from 250W up to 6 kW.
The Wallbox houses either Eltek Valere's industry leading Flatpack2 HE high efficiency rectifiers or its Micropack DC small power system. The enclosure can be used in 12V, 24V, 48V, 60V, 110V or 220V DC output applications. In some small load configurations, the unit can even incorporate batteries.
"The demand for small and cost-effective DC power systems that still offer full system functionality is growing in utilities, railway and other industrial sectors, as well as with 4G small cells and wired broadband sites in the telecom market," said Morten Schoyen, chief marketing officer of Eltek Valere. "The Wallbox not only fulfills this demand, it leverages Eltek Valere's investment in HE technology to help customers reduce energy waste and reduce operating costs."
