SHEFFIELD, U.K. -- Dialogue Communications, a leading interactive mobile specialist, today announces its new management team structure and the appointment of a new managing director, Dr. Guillaume Peersman. The announcement comes as the company celebrates its most successful financial year to date, with year end turnover and profit the highest in the company's 13 year history.
As managing director, Guillaume will be supported by Simon Bury, who has been appointed as new chief operating officer, and head of international sales, Miguel Sousa. Company founder, Hugh Spear, 47, is overall chief executive officer across Dialogue Communications in the UK and Australia.
The restructuring was in part previously planned by Paul Griffiths and Hugh Spear, who pinpointed this management team as the group to drive the company forward, and now following Paul's tragic death this team has been put in place to continue the success of the company.
Guillaume, 34, has worked for Dialogue for over 10 years, most recently in the role of technical director, and brings with him many years experience of working at the top level in the mobile industry. Guillaume has a PhD, which he was awarded in 2003 for the design of Dialogue's core messaging gateway architecture.
Simon, 33, joined Dialogue last year from Orange and has been promoted from business development manager to C.O.O. and will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the business. Miguel, 34, joined Dialogue after working for software company called ShowItAll for three years and prior to that, opened the UK office of MINICK (formerly known as Distefora Mobile).Miguel will head up the company's global sales teams and using his 13 years of experience in sales, will be responsible for bringing in new business and servicing Dialogue's existing customer base.
CEO Hugh Spear explains: "In the UK we are in the midst of exciting changes in the industry, and we need the management structure in place to make the most of them. These management changes will enable Dialogue's product and service portfolio to exploited more fully at home and abroad and we also want to bring more of our product set to the Australian and New Zealand markets, where the growth based on SMS products alone has been phenomenal. We are empowering our management to take on a broader geographical remit and expect further growth as a result."
