Contec Opens Euro Sales Office

VANCOUVER -- Contec Innovations initiated a key element of its global sales strategy today with the formal opening of its European Sales Office and the hiring of Shafiq Mumani as the Company’s Business Development Director for Europe and Africa.Mr. Mumani has over seven years of international experience in sales of infrastructure solutions to mobile operators. Most recently, he was Business Development Manager for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at Glenayre Electronics (UK) Ltd.. Mr. Mumani, who holds an Electrical Engineering degree from the University of British Columbia, began working for Vancouver-based Glenayre Electronics Inc. in 1989 as a Senior Design Engineer before moving to the International Sales department in 1995.
