Cinta Networks appoints Nortel veteran Bob Cantarutti as vice president of sales to lead expanded sales effort

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Cinta Networks, the leading provider of anew class of optical networking systems that reduce network costs andaccelerate revenue generation for service providers, today announced anational sales network as the next step in the company’s launch of itsgroundbreaking WAVEJunction™ optical wavelength networking systems. Thismulti-faceted support infrastructure establishes Cinta salesrepresentatives in regional hubs serving major metropolitan areas – ineffect, placing sales personnel in areas convenient for Cinta’s regional,long haul and high-end metro service provider customers.Cinta has tapped telecommunications industry veteran Bob Cantarutti as itsvice president of sales to lead the program rollout. As the former vicepresident of optical networks and access sales for Nortel, Cantaruttibuilt an optical sales and engineering force of 150 professionals in justtwo years that was responsible for several billion dollars in sales in2000.
