Chunghwa Uses Infogate's IPTV

TEL AVIV -- Infogate Online Ltd., a leader in software solutions for IPTV, video on demand and games on demand over broadband networks, announced today that Chunghwa Telecom Global (CHTG) has selected Infogate’s OnDema IPTV middleware for its new video on demand (VOD) service in the United States. The new innovative service will deliver Indian-made movies on demand in the United States targeting the large Indian community. The movies will be provided by MarsOne Entertainment Group.

Chunghwa Telecom Global plans to offer U.S. subscribers a variety of VOD entertainment packages based on monthly subscriptions, single movies, movies of the month and more. Subscribers will be able to view movies in streaming mode or by downloading movies to a PC for later viewing. MarsOne owns more than 5,000 hours of tier 1 movie content produced in India.

“CHTG has selected Infogate Online for its state of the art rich media delivery software and MarsOne for their exciting online content and customer acquisition capabilities,” stated Raymond Lai, Vice President, Service Platform at Chunghwa Telecom Global.
