DENVER -- Am-Beo, a leading provider of rating and revenue chain management for next-generation telecommunication services, announced it is expanding its presence in the United States by opening a marketing, sales and support office in Denver. The company's new office will focus on addressing the telecommunication industry's increasing demand for software that enables complex pricing and rating of multimedia, usage-based services. Am-Beo's entrance into the U.S. market is designed to provide solutions that assist telecommunications companies -- and their content partners - in building flexible pricing and third-party settlements into their OSS infrastructure. "As US carriers, particularly in the wireless segment, continue to evolve their networks to support 2.5G and 3G data services, billing for those next generation content and data services will require a highly flexible billing infrastructure that can support usage based billing, real-time dynamic pricing and revenue settlement," explained Yankee analyst Paul Hughes, Director of Billing and Payment Application Strategies. "As most carriers already have existing billing and customer care solutions in place, many will look to adjunct solutions as a way to support these new billing-centric requirements." Am-Beo's rating software is installed as an enhancement to existing, legacy billing systems. The company will bring the expertise of the European wireless markets along with its advanced rating and settlements software solutions. Am-Beo is positioning its presence in Denver to support existing North American customers and assist companies in establishing support systems for mobile and data services. Am-Beo
