BOULDER, Colo. -- Alpine Research Optics (ARO, Boulder, CO) has expanded and reorganized its staff in order to support the introduction of a new series of off-the-shelf, high performance laser optics. Chris Rosauer has joined Alpine Research Optics (ARO, Boulder, CO) as Manager of Operations. In this role, he will direct all manufacturing activities for the company’s high performance laser optics, and will oversee the engineering, quality, materials and production departments. He will also be responsible for manufacturing process development and personnel training.

Chris brings over 10 years of experience in operations, and most recently was the Manufacturing Manager for Optical Coating Laboratories Inc. (A JDS Uniphase Company). He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Northern Illinois University, in Dekalb, Illinois.

Wayne Stoner has taken the position of Inside Sales Manager. Wayne will be responsible for management of the off-the-shelf optics product line, and will direct efforts in Sales Administration and Customer Service. These groups support both catalog and OEM order fulfillment.

Wayne has been with ARO for seven years, and has held positions in operations management, project management and customer service. Prior to joining ARO, Wayne was a Project Manager for SVG Lithography in Wilton, Connecticut. Wayne holds both a Bachelor and Master degrees in Organizational Management.

"As ARO transitions from purely a custom optics manufacturer to also providing a full line of off-the-shelf components, we will need to add new skills and organizational capabilities," notes ARO President David Collier. "Both Chris and Wayne bring important expertise to ARO that will be crucial to our success as a supplier of both custom and standard products."
