Has appointed communications industry veteran Michael E. Clark as Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Technical Services

CHELMSFORD, Mass. -- Airvana, Inc. (NASDAQ: AIRV) the company transforming the mobile experience, has appointed communications industry veteran Michael E. Clark as Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Technical Services. In this role, Mr. Clark joins Airvana’s executive staff and is responsible for leading the company’s global sales and technical services organizations.
Mr. Clark brings 22 years of experience across multiple communication markets – including wireless and wire-line service providers, network equipment manufacturers and major enterprises throughout the world – to his position at Airvana. In his most recent role, Mr. Clark was Senior Vice President, Global Sales and Customer Service for JDS Uniphase’s Communication and Commercial Optical Products group. Prior, he held senior level sales, marketing and management roles at JDSU, Acterna, Agilent Technologies, and Hewlett Packard.
