Announces the release of coarse WDM for metro access network applications

SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- Alliance Fiber Optic Products, Inc. (Nasdaq: AFOP), a leading supplier of fiber optic components and integrated modules for the optical network equipment market, today announced the release of its SpectraMux(TM) line of 4-channel and 8-channel Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing (CWDM) modules for cost-effective multichannel access network applications. AFOP's SpectraMux line of CWDM modules allows for extended temperature performance; other features include high adjacent band isolation, high center wavelength accuracy and stability, low insertion loss, high directivity, an epoxy-free optical path, and low polarization dependent loss. AFOP's CWDM is available packaged in an LGX(R) module or a board mount cassette with most connector terminations available.
