Interpeak combines WiMax/WiBro-compliant network layer solution and Virtual Router capabilities with Adaptix's WiMax/WiBro link layer solution

SEATTLE and STOCKHOLM -- ADAPTIX Inc., a leading provider of OFDMA/TDD technology for mobile WiMAX/WiBro solutions, today announced a strategic agreement with Interpeak, a pioneer of Internet and security protocol solutions for embedded systems, to provide wireless carriers with a complete broadband wireless mobility offering. As part of the agreement, Interpeak will provide a WiMAX/WiBro-compliant network layer solution, including Mobile IPv4, dual IPv4/IPv6 TCP/IP stacks, and Interpeak Virtual Router capabilities, to integrate with the ADAPTIX WiMAX/WiBro link layer solution.
