Acotel Group signs a contract to supply its Application Router and Protocol Converter (JAR) middleware platform to LibanCell in Beirut

ROME -- The Acotel Group has been awarded a contract with LibanCell in Beirut to supply its Application Router and Protocol Converter (JAR), a middleware platform connecting 3rd party applications to an operator's SMSC and MMSC infrastructure.
Mr. Mouin Abdallah, LibanCell Technical Development Unit Manager, stated: "LibanCell has constantly maintained its position as the leading cellular service provider in the Lebanese market through innovative value added services. In this regard, Acotel's JAR solution provides a single point of access for all messaging based services, offering security to protect our network, and redundancy to ensure service availability. The JAR will be a core component in the delivery of our messaging services".
Declan O'Mahony, Director of Acotel Mobile Solutions commented, "I am pleased to be working with LibanCell and supporting their drive to deliver high quality messaging services.
