3 UK Appoints New Blood
3 names Gordon Webber as director of commercial activities, Ian Munro as customer director, and Graeme Oxby as marketing director

LONDON -- 3, the UK’s first Video Mobile company, today announced the appointments of Gordon Webber as Director of Commercial Activities and Ian Munro as Customer Director. Also announced today was the appointment of Graeme Oxby as Marketing Director. All three roles report in to Gareth Jones, Chief Operating Officer, 3 UK.
As Director of Commercial Activities, Gordon, 51 is responsible for evaluating 3’s commercial opportunities and agreements in the UK. He will also be responsible for reviewing the performance of current products, price plans and propositions. Gordon who has over 14 years of experience in the mobile industry, joins from Orange where he was Head of Global Distribution.
Ian Munro, 53, who has been appointed Customer Director, will have responsibility for leading and managing all the dynamics of the customer experience, including the contact centre teams in Glasgow and Mumbai. Ian has over twenty years experience in developing, implementing and managing contact centres. He has worked with a number of high profile organisations in successfully developing and implementing enhanced customer experience.
Also confirmed today was the appointment of Graeme Oxby as Marketing Director. Graeme, 40, joined 3 in November 2001 as Director of Consumer Marketing, where he led the implementation and refining our marketing proposition. Graeme’s role encompasses product development, marketing, pricing and communications.
