STOCKHOLM -- Telepo today announce that Ericsson (NASDAQ:ERIC) has licensed from Telepo its next-generation Business Communication Solution, solving the converged multimedia and real-time communication needs of enterprises with rapidly growing mobile workforces.

This will initially bring Ericsson's new generation Enterprise Mobility Gateway to the market, targeting fixed and mobile operators rolling out integrated enterprise services over current and future networks.

Telepo's innovative business communication solutions have been specifically developed to enable mobility for users. Central to its design is ease of use, with an intuitive user interface and single identity. This enables a consistent service offering across locations and devices, such as mobile phones, softphones on PCs, VoIP clients, IP phones and other desktop devices. Telepo's solutions are built on Linux and open IETF standards, such as SIP, HTTP and LDAP to offer interoperability with a wide range of endpoint devices, legacy systems and other business applications -- now and in the future.

Lars-Michael Paqvalén, CEO of Telepo, says: "The industry is on the verge of a drastic shift from device-centric communication to true user-centric solutions. The collaboration with Ericsson brings even further support to Telepo's focus on rich, customisable, user-friendly and open standards based business communication solutions."
