SAN FRANCISCO -- Tango Networks™ today announced an agreement with Strata8 Networks™, an enterprise-focused mobile operator, to provide the Tango fixed-mobile convergence solution to the enterprise market.

Tango Networks’ Abrazo™ solution enables any mobile phone, regardless of type, to become a true extension on the enterprise voice network. For the enterprise, true integration with the corporate voice system delivers increased employee productivity, accessibility, and customer satisfaction. Tango Abrazo allows a corporation to enhance its mobility policy by giving the organization increased control and management of its mobile assets, while leveraging current investments in PBX systems, desk phones and mobile handsets. The highly customizable Tango Abrazo solution is easily deployed and facilitates regulatory compliance.

The Tango Abrazo solution is focused on converging fixed and mobile phone services, using licensed or unlicensed spectrum, on a foundation of either existing core network standards or an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) infrastructure. Tango Abrazo also facilitates customization of company-specific business applications, with an open platform and readily-available application programming interfaces (APIs). Tango Networks functionality will be available via Strata8 Networks in various cities in Florida, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, New Mexico, North Carolina, Texas, the US Virgin Islands, Virginia, and Washington. The company’s first network rollouts are expected in the first quarter of 2008.

Tango Networks announced its partnership with Strata8 Networks at the VoiceCon San Francisco 2007 conference, where Tango is exhibiting in Booth #723.

“As one of our initial carrier partners, Strata8 Networks is an ideal fit for our Abrazo solution,” stated Doug Bartek, president and chief executive officer of Tango Networks. “Strata8 Networks recognizes the value of enterprise customers, understanding that enterprises are more than a collection of consumers and require business-centric benefits. The Abrazo addresses enterprise needs for management and control, productivity and accessibility.”
