RICHARDSON, Texas -- Mavenir Systems, an emerging technology company linking any network and any device through its mOne(TM) solution, announced today that it has joined the IMS Forum (www.IMSForum.org), the industry's only forum dedicated to the acceleration of IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) application and service interoperability.

The IMS Forum is an industry-wide forum designed to foster the interoperability of IMS applications and services for wireless, wireline and cable broadband networks. Mavenir's mOne(TM) solution allows wireless and wireline service providers to expand their revenue opportunities and utilize their existing and next-generation networks to deploy multimedia seamlessly across mobile and fixed domains without costly new infrastructure investments. "We are pleased to have Mavenir Systems as a member of the IMS Forum," said Michael Khalilian, Chairman & President IMS Forum. "Mavenir's team includes industry recognized experts in next generation networking and IMS capabilities, and their current engagements with service providers across the globe continue to push the industry forward. The company has developed solutions to enable IMS using existing and next generation network infrastructure."

"In joining IMS Forum, Mavenir Systems is aligning itself with industry innovators - all with the goal of seeing IMS standards evolve as convergence services become more and more popular with consumers," said Payam Maveddat, Vice President of Product Management and Marketing for Mavenir Systems and IMS Forum Board Member. "Mavenir is enabling service providers to add IMS services without bias to their current network infrastructure. This relationship will strengthen the industry's drive to realize IMS adoption and also to take advantage of the benefits IMS provides to subscribers such as presence status and multimedia services."
