Mahi debuts new products and solutions at OFC/NFOEC 2005

PETALUMA, Calif. -- Mahi Networks, a supplier of market leading optical transport, switching, and aggregation platforms designed to transition service providers to an IP services network, will showcase its expanded product line-up and portfolio of solutions for the access and metro-core markets in Booth No. 1116 at OFC/NFOEC 2005 in Anaheim, CA, March 8-10.

Mahi will be introducing an expanded line of optical Ethernet transponder cards for its ROADM-based Vx7 Multi-Service Core Transport System. These new high-density 10Gbps wavelength transponders are designed to efficiently transport GbE and 10GbE LAN/WAN connections fueled by bandwidth intensive, next-generation IP-based services such as IPTV, Video-on-Demand, and Broadband Internet.

Also premiering at OFC/NFOEC 2005 will be Mahi's Lx7 family of CWDM and DWDM products designed for the access and enterprise markets. Lx7 products can be used as an extension to Vx7 MCTS networks or as stand-alone solutions for SAN, campus, and enterprise markets.
