NEW YORK -- Solegy™, a provider of a managed service delivery platform for VoIP, IMS and other next generation services, announced today that it has partnered with iotum to empower service providers with an open source access point to iotum’s relevant voice communications services. Through Solegy’s open source proxy and managed service delivery platform, Service PDQ™, service providers or businesses can leverage iotum’s voice communications service which prioritizes and manages voice communications.
By downloading the open source proxy, calls can be routed with a single configuration parameter in the proxy’s integrated Web User Interface. The free software can be downloaded at www.opensourcesip.org, the home of Solegy’s open source initiative.
“The need for VoIP service providers to differentiate their offerings from traditional telcos has never been more important,” said Eric Hernaez, CEO and co-founder of Solegy. “One of the best ways to do this is by leveraging IP communications tools that apply a user’s contextual information to their telephone interactions. iotum’s service is an excellent example of this capability. Solegy’s objective is to offer service providers a platform on which the best and most innovative services can be tied together in a stable and massively scalable environment.”
