Charles Vogt joins Procera Networks' board of directors

LOS GATOS, Calif. -- Procera® Networks Inc. (NYSE Amex: PKT), a developer of Evolved DPI solutions providing awareness, analysis, and control for network service providers, today announced that Charles D. Vogt, President and CEO of GENBAND, a leading developer of Internet Protocol (IP) solutions and services, has joined Procera's board of directors.
Mr. Vogt is an industry veteran with more than 24 years of experience advancing the evolution of next generation, global communications networks. As CEO of GENBAND, he has successfully executed several transformational acquisitions including the recently completed acquisition of the substantially larger CVAS division of Nortel. Since joining GENBAND in September 2004, he has taken the Company from a single product to a global market-share leader in next generation IP switching and application infrastructure. Prior to joining GENBAND, Vogt was instrumental in the operational and financial growth of five standard-setting technology companies that either became public companies or were acquired.
