MWC 2012: More Pictures!

BARCELONA -- Mobile World Congress 2012 -- What do human bees, ball-shaped radio access network (RAN) elements, blue rinses and golden cubes have in common?

They're all in our latest picture postcard from this year's MWC jamboree, that's what!

All photos, but none of the accompanying captions, by Siqui Sánchez/Getty Images, except for the Bharti Airtel Ltd. (Mumbai: BHARTIARTL) picture, which came direct from the operator.

(Shrug.) I thought the show looked pretty dynamic. But if you think that's boring, check out the student protests:

Ray Le Maistre said it basically looked like a bunch of people standing in line.

Hey, speaking of which, here's an exciting tradeshow shot:

I'm gonna milk that one for, like, eternity.

Really? I cannot believe that I just spent the time to look at this set of photos.  This show must have been so boring!

davidjoh - I'm sure the show would have been far more dynamic had you been there!! Come out to Barcelona next year and give us an exciting picture opportunity!! :-)

Personally I think it was a very interesting event -- no big shocks but lots of cool stuff happening in terms of network capabilities, devices and applications.
