("MRV" or the "Company") (OTC Pink Sheets: MRVC), a leading provider of optical communications systems and services to service providers and enterprises around the world, today announced that it will demonstrate Carrier Ethernet Global Interconnect interoperability for its Optical Carrier Ethernet Access product series at the Ethernet Expo Americas Conference & Exhibition, in New York, November 2-3, 2010. Ethernet Expo 2010 will assemble dozens of experts from the service provider, supplier, and analyst communities to explore the latest market trends in Carrier Ethernet network technologies and services. MRV will be exhibiting in booth #217 at the conference.

The OptiSwitch(R) Carrier Ethernet Access series is part of the interoperability showcase conducted by the European Advanced Networking Test Center (EANTC) at the show. The demonstration will conclude the 3rd phase of the EANTC's test program and focus on expanding interconnect footprint from Europe into North America, adding tests of Ethernet Services OAM and end-to-end performance monitoring of a wholesale Global Carrier Ethernet Network-to-Network service. Results from the tests will be detailed in a white paper available via EANTC's website at http://www.eantc.de/cegi.
