MPI Launches OC192 Transmitter

PHOENIX -- Optical components and subsystems manufacturer Micro Photonix Integration Corporation (MPI) today announced the introduction of its OC-192 Transmitter. Comprised of MPI’s lithium niobate-based external modulator, active bias control circuit and the newly introduced OC-192 RF Amplifier, the unit comes in a compact, MSA-sized package. The OC-192 Transmitter is available with or without a laser light source to allow customers maximum flexibility. The transmitter will be marketed along with MPI’s existing OC-192 modulator and OC-192 RF Amplifier product lines. MPI will demonstrate the unit at the Optical Fiber Conference March 19-21 in Anaheim, Calif.
