Simon Leung, Motorola's senior VP, Networks Asia-Pacific, has been promoted to president for Motorola's Asia-Pacific region

HONG KONG -- Motorola, Inc. (NYSE:MOT) today announced that Simon Leung, Motorola's senior vice-president, Networks Asia-Pacific, has been promoted to president for Motorola's Asia-Pacific Region. In this role, Leung will lead the regional and country strategies for Motorola across Asia Pacific. His responsibilities include implementing strategic account management across the company's global accounts, executing marketing and sales plans, and strengthening relationships with key constituencies. In addition, Leung will continue to lead Motorola's Networks business.

"Simon brings an exceptional amount of knowledge and experience to his expanded role as Motorola's Asia-Pacific regional president. This position will serve as the model for the direction Motorola is heading in its business strategy, customer focus and governance," said Ed Zander, CEO, Motorola Inc.
