- Reporting from 2009 International CES, Heavy Reading analyst Aditya Kishore gives a rundown of the products that attempt to bridge the gap between Internet and TV, such as LG's first network-connected Blu-ray player, which offers 12,000 videos from Netflix and 14,000 from CinemaNow.
- Cisco's new Eos white-label software platform is being sold to media companies with an ad revenue split, rather than a traditional straight licensing agreement. Scott Brown, the company's manager of marketing strategy, called it "the most natural thing."
