SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- Telegent Systems, the company that makes television mobile, today announced that its award-winning mobile TV solutions will be showcased at the 2010 Mobile World Congress (MWC) event in Barcelona, Spain, February 15 - 18. The complete line of Telegent integrated mobile TV receivers will be featured in a variety of mobile handsets and live demonstrations in Hall 2, Booth 2A24 and private meeting suites 3.1HS61 and 3.1HS63. The live demonstrations will include handsets developed by Telegent’s customers specifically to address the anticipated demand for viewing football on handsets during the upcoming Football World Cup 2010.

Telegent’s recently announced TLG1121, the Company’s third generation analog mobile TV technology and the industry’s first single-chip analog mobile TV receiver based on 65nm CMOS process technology will also be on display. The 6 x 6 mm package reduces solution size by 25% as compared to previous generation devices while drawing 25% less power from the battery. For manufacturers, this translates to greater flexibility in PCB layout enabling smaller, sleeker handset designs and longer viewing times for consumers.

Telegent’s award-winning technology is also shortlisted for “Best TV or Video Service” in the Global Mobile Awards 2010 competition. Winners will be presented during MWC at the GSMA Global Mobile Awards Ceremony:
