Re: The Edge is Not a Box Yes, that's one reason why many of them were so thrilled when the Sprint/T-Mobile merger (which would have eliminated redundant towers) was scuttled by Sprint's ego.

Re: The Edge is Not a Box I remember reading some time ago about wireless operators selling fixed assets like towers. Now I'm understanding that move: Edge computing is going to be a big business, and the operators wanted to focus on service.

There's a big opportunity here for these tower operators.
